Not Your Mama’s Shirley Temple Recipe:
1 oz grenadine
0.75 oz vodka
0.25 oz aperol
4 oz sprite
Combine grenadine, vodka, and aperol in a glass with ice and stir. Top with sprite and garnish with lime slices if you feel like it.

Misogyny aside, pretty fun musical. This week Raven and Campbell discuss Crayola Crowns, seasoning mac and cheese, and naming children in the 1954 musical film, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
June Jam Recipe:
-2 oz gin
-½ oz fresh lemon juice
-1 tbsp jam
Place all ingredients in a shaker. Shake well with ice to break up the jam then pour into a glass.

-0.75 oz creme de violette
-0.5 oz lime juice
-1 oz vodka
Seltzer to top
Combine ingredients in a glass with ice and stir. Top with seltzer of your choosing.

15 year engagement is actually criminal. This week Raven and Campbell discuss fight scenes, mobster names, and eggs for some reason in the 1955 musical film Guys and Dolls.
The Thousandaire Recipe:
2 ounces bourbon
3/4 ounce Grand Marnier
1/4 ounce absinthe
1/2 ounce grenadine
1/2 ounce egg white (or 2 tbsp aquafaba)
1/2 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Garnish: nutmeg, freshly grated
Add alcohol, grenadine, lemon juice, and egg white to a shaker without ice and shake for at least 30 seconds. Add ice and shake, strain, and garnish with nutmeg.

Ok so there isn’t an evil wizard in this one. This week Raven and Campbell return to a classic and discuss costume design, favorite maps, and again just how awful the 1999 version is in the 1956 musical film, The King and I.
Young Lovers Recipe:
-Thai basil leaves
-1 oz coconut simple syrup
-2 oz spiced rum
In a rocks glass, lightly muddle basil leaves in the simple syrup. Add rum and fill the glass with crushed ice. Stir to combine.

2 Gold Doubloons Recipe:
-2 oz spiced rum
-¾ oz fresh lemon juice
-1 oz rosemary simple syrup
-2 tbsp aquafaba
Shake ingredients with NO ice in a shaker for at least 30 seconds. Add ice, shake, and strain over ice.

Happy Arbor Day!! Go plant a tree and DON’T watch this horrible movie. In this environmental special, Raven and Campbell discuss environmental racism, a mismatched soundtrack, and the Parent Trap for some reason in the 2012 animated musical film, The Lorax.
The Wood Sprite Recipe:
- 1.5 oz rye
- 0.75 oz green chartreuse 
- 0.5 oz ginger simple syrup
- A few dashes of Angostura bitters
- squeeze of lemon, to taste
- seltzer water
Combine all ingredients except seltzer in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a Tom collins or wine glass with ice. Add seltzer water to taste, at least 2 oz.
